Tissue conditioner

Over time, the fit of your dentures change  due to the shrinking of your gums. When you come in for new dentures, or if your dentures need a reline, the gums may show signs of irritation from the dentures not fitting properly. Before making your new dentures, or performing the reline, we will place a special material inside your existing dentures that will help facilitate healing so that your gums are healthy. It is very important that whenever a new denture is made, or a reline performed, that the gums are healthy. If a denture or reline is done on unhealthy gums, once the gums heal, your new denture or reline may not fit accurately. If your dentures are loose, unstable, or are causing you pain, please give us a call so we can help get your gums healthy!
